Open Night Success

Our Open Night last night was very well attended to hear Club Secretary Ron Harriman give an illustrated talk on the history of  Pitlochry Angling Club. Amongst the honours, David Stewart became Club Champion and Andy Walker who recently retired from the Club Committee after serving in various roles for 46 years was presented with an engraved silver quaich by Club President Jimmy Ross and a golfing watch which will apparently tell him how short his drives are!

Big thanks to everyone who participated in our raffle and auction to raise funds for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, £700 will be winging its way to them shortly. We are especially very grateful to all donors.

P.S. Thanks to the generosity of one of our visitors who handed of a donation of £20 to Club President Jimmy Ross yesterday in the street, the cheque for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance will now be for £720 (unless we receive more donations - please contact the Club soon if you wish to contribute).

P.P.S. We have received a further £30 in donations so the total is still rising, now it's £750!
