Another cold day on the river and another quiet day on our
Dam beat – despite the odd fish showing and the best efforts of the anglers. Further
downstream at Sawmill it was a different story; Paul Carter got his season
underway with a superb fish of 14lbs caught on the fly this morning. Conditions
look good for next week – and hopefully the fishing will pick up.
