It looked promising at the Dam today but the fish couldn't be tempted - despite the best efforts of the rods in action. Downstream at Sawmill, though, Ally Gowans rounded off an excellent week with a fish of 14lbs caught on the fly. Temperatures are forecast to rise next week - prospects look good.
